Father of the Nation

You should know that I have been a reluctant Trump supporter. It's been out of necessity to impede Hillary from winning the White House. I loathe Hillary. I find her morally bankrupt and she has a proven track record of making reckless and self-serving decisions for our country.

The convention is eroding my reluctance. The President of the United States of America has many other monikers, i.e. POTUS, Commander in Chief, and Leader of the Free World, to name a few, but I want to focus on Father of our Nation. If Trump can raise children to be the quality people we have witnessed during the convention, I can support him fully as our President. Don Jr. was so impressive and Tiffany was so confident and self-assured. The amount of pressure she was under seemed to not weigh on her shoulders. She credits her strength to her father's love and support. I think our nation is in need of some love and support to lighten our loads as well.

Don Jr was incredible! I believe a political super nova was found last night. He detailed the lessons his father taught him and his siblings about respecting the workers who get things done on projects. Learning from them, working with them, valuing them and their knowledge. I love that they know how to handle dry wall, pour concrete and maneuver construction equipment. I can't imagine Ivanka getting dirty on a construction site, but after hearing Don Jr., I'm sure she has!

While listening to Don Jr. I remembered something I always knew about Donald Trump that the MSM made me forget, Trump loves to help people succeed. That's what his TV show was all about. If you remember the first season, Bill Rancic won, but Trump didn't let Troy, Kwame or Omarosa leave without offering to continue to help them reach their goals. Omarosa has been campaigning enthusiastically for him. As a black woman she doesn't seem to feel discriminated or marginalized by him.

I also realized that he set standards and expectations for his children that have helped them be successful students, workers, executives, business owners, people, spouses and parents. Isn't that what we want for all Americans? Success in all aspects of life? If Donald Trump can inspire his children, their friends and his employees to do their best imagine the lift our nation will receive from a leader with real world experience. Someone like Don Jr mentioned last night, has signed the front of a paycheck.

We have had eight years of community organizing. What has it brought us? More division, more violence, more welfare, more unemployment and more debt. What we need is a father that will provide more opportunities, motivate people to be better tomorrow than they are today, respect our laws and law officers, and stop fighting with one another. A father who is a good provider and sees their role clearly as the protector.

I think Trump is what this country needs at this moment in history.
